Earlier you had to relax your fraud controls and reduce the security of AVS to allow payments to go through without a zip code. This would open you up to potential fraud as reported by you. With this release, you can now have tighter controls for Authorize and NMI payments as well.
In case invoice sending failed via email due to some issues in the template (missing braces or any other issue in compilation), there was no way to know that earlier. We’ll now show specific error messages to let you know the issue.
Why we did this?
To enhance fraud controls in Payments and to make the experience more user-friendly
